At Woolwich Counselling Centre, fees are calculated on a sliding scale according to family income, thanks to generous community donors, grants, and other funding sources.
Our therapists have Masters level training and are registered with their respective colleges, enabling counselling fees to be covered under most extended health benefits. We also work with various employee assistance plans, and offer subsidized or funded counselling provided through specific programs such as some doctor’s referrals, Ontario Works, Ontario Disability Support Program, or Victim’s Services.
Fee payment is normally made at the end of each session, unless other arrangements are made. Payments are accepted through cash, cheques, debit, credit, and e-transfer.
Due to the many requests for service, we require cancellation notice of at least 24 hours. Clients will be charged the full fee for any missed counselling sessions without 24 hours notice.
