Mental Health Month Events
Green Ribbon Campaign
Get ready to help us paint the town green!
Our Green Ribbon Campaign is all about raising awareness and sparking real conversations about mental health—one ribbon at a time. Throughout the month, you’ll see green ribbons popping up across the downtown core as a visible reminder that mental health matters and that no one is alone.
Want to join in? It’s easy—and we’d love to have you be part of it!
Stop by at any of the locations below and pick up your free green ribbons to share with friends, family, coworkers, or customers. Whether you pin one on, tie it around your space, or decorate your storefront, every ribbon helps spread awareness and start important conversations.
Let’s make it fun, visible, and meaningful—together, we can turn our whole community green and show our support for mental wellness!

Youth Engagement
We’re pleased to welcome Sam Demma to Elmira District Secondary School on May 13, where he will deliver two keynote presentations. These sessions are designed specifically for high school students, along with Grade 7 and 8 students from feeder schools. While this is not a public event, it’s an important opportunity to engage youth in meaningful conversations about mental health.
Community Partnerships
This month, we’re also focusing on strengthening relationships with local businesses. We’re inviting them to continue their involvement by:
- Displaying a mental health banner in their storefront or showroom
- Placing a green ribbon outside their business
- Participating in one of our workshops, such as Let’s Talk About Mental Health
These partnerships play a key role in building a supportive, informed community.
